Description:

The Administration for Native Americans (ANA), within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), announces the availability of funds to eligible applicants to mitigate environmental impacts on Indian lands due to Department of Defense (DOD) activities on Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS). Financial assistance is provided utilizing the competitive process in accordance with the Native Americans Programs Act of 1974, as amended. Program Areas of Interest are projects that ANA considers supportive to Native American communities for the purpose of FUDS environmental activities. Although eligibility for funding is not restricted to projects of the type listed in this program announcement, these Program Areas of Interest are ones which ANA sees as particularly beneficial to the development of an environmental mitigation project.
